Bruno Ganz portrays Hitler as a half-crazed man who keeps trying to delude himself that the final victory is nigh until a series of defeats breaks his spirit and he resigns himself to his end. But it is not only Hitler's downfall that is portrayed. The film tells the tale of Goering's and Himmler's desertion, and of the Goebbels' murder of their children and suicide.MPAA rating: Not rated.
