He has published, among others, the poetry volumes Asiento en las ruinas (2005), the essays of A Follower of Montaigne Mira La Habana (1995), Las comidas profunda (1997), The Lost Book of the Origenists (2002) and Villa Marista en plata (2010), and the novels Contrabando de sombras (2002) and La fiesta watched (2007). Tales of all parts of the Empire (2000) and Heart of Skitalietz (2010) collect most of their stories. He lives in Madrid and is vice director of Diario de Cuba.
