Several differences were found between vehicle control patterns of the men and women. Several smaller differences appeared between age groups. Finally, a comparison of interstate data wirh that of a previous study (Soliday and Allen, 1972) revealed consistency between groups, apart from a significant difference with respect to lane changes. As expected, the type of roadway course had a profound effect on the control patterns of all subjects"--Abstract.

- Two Jeeps: an American road-trip. by Kefford, Alex /(author);
We shipped two British Jeeps 3,500 miles back to the USA, before embarking on a 5,500-mile coast-to-coast road-trip from New York to LA. Along the way, we tackled the world-famous trails of Moab, took a tour of the nearby national parks, and sampled a few of Colorado's most scenic byways. Over the course of three weeks we were almost arrested, swallowed by a tornado, and nearly mugged in Las Vegas. The Jeeps broke down, caught fire, and were nearly confiscated. But we also met some incredible people, all of whom contributed in their own way to this story.
