"What if one of the darkest hours in Batman's crime-fighting career never happened? In 1988, the pop culture world was rocked when comics readers were given the opportunity to decide the outcome of one of the medium's most controversial quandaries: Should the Boy Wonder die? While history has taught us one answer to that question, a second answer is now told-What if Robin lived? Jason Todd, the second teenager to wear the mask of Robin, survived a brutal beating at the hands of maniacal Joker, but his wounds run deeper than flesh. The already volatile Jason is haunted by what happened to him and is unwilling to confront his demons, so Bruce Wayne brings in a psychiatrist to talk to him. Can Jason recover from his ordeal? Is the Batman ultimately to blame? And then there is the question on everyone's mind: who killed the Joker?"-- Provided by publisher.

College flunkey to college instructor / by Foy, Jr., Robert E. "Robin",author.;
Robert Edward “Robin” Foy, Jr. grew up in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Today, he says his heart skips an extra beat as he pulls off Hwy 52 at the first exit to Mount Airy. This is the same road which used to be the actual road to Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His love of this town has stayed with him throughout his employment and residency in Piedmont North Carolina. Even though, we as children, all wanted to move to larger towns or cities as adults. Mr. Foy and his wife, Pam live in Advance at Oak Valley in Davie County. He sees a very similar life style to his remembrance of the 50s and 60s. Life is progressive but no one is in a hurry! Golf is played at Oak Valley. His gang-some tees off at 8:00 MWF during spring through fall, and 9:00 MWF in the winter. His game is not what most of us want, but he has had 2 hole-in-ones while playing there. He tells that his writing is not about himself, but to thank the Lord for all he has been given, and the direction the Holy Spirit directed him through the past 69 years. This book was not written for everyone, but Mr. Foy would hope anyone who enjoys it, pass it on.
